MRG Story
MRG was formed in Redondo Beach, CA in a living room in 2005. The founders, Joe Micatrotto Sr., Connie Micatrotto, Justin Micatrotto and Joe Micatrotto II, sought to procure a concept aligned with their goals and ideals. The family group took their years of experience in the restaurant industry and decided to form a restaurant management company focusing on exceptional guest service and quality food. MRG selected Raising Cane’s® Chicken Fingers, a Baton Rouge-based quality, quick-service concept started in 1996 by Todd Graves. When determining where to base MRG, it was decided Las Vegas provided the proper environment and great national exposure. While tourists dominate the Las Vegas perception, locals are what make it sustainable. Being a part of and understanding the Las Vegas community is at the heart of MRG.
MRG knew based on the success of the Las Vegas market expansion was inevitable. The city of Phoenix was next on their radar and they began restaurant operations there in late 2011. There are other territories and markets MRG will eventually expand in to, but only as long as their goals and ideals are met each step along the way. Providing a great quality product, in a clean and safe environment, at a value that meets the needs of their guests is essential to what they do. However, it is equally important they operate while maintaining an industry leading relationship with their crews and communities they live and do business in.
